The advert I am analyzing is Gucci perfume, the model is standing in a very unique position and he is very confident this shows a lot of masculinity. The background is very simple because it makes the model as well as the perfume stand out it shows as it lot of simplicity. There is not many mise-en-scenes which also highlights the simplicity. The facial expression of the model is very demanding. The male is standing up straight and muscular the female is making the people see her as the lower species and the male actor more important which sexism is. The male’s facial expressionism showing us his cool and suave and sophisticated and the female is facial expression seductive. It has a dark background to help us concentrate on the product and the models. There’s a real lack of costumes the poster shows only the product and a Gucci necklace and in the video there does only a well-known actor wear a black suit.

The main color is black. The name of the product is Gucci by Gucci the slogan is pour homme.

The model looks at the camera as to say look at me and what I have which makes the audience want to be like him and in some cases he is looked upon as a role model to younger people. The camera angle is a body shot, this particular angle is used because the models body language has relevance to the connotations of the advert. This angle allows us to clearer see the body language as well as the facial expressions.

Gucci is a very well known designer brand and is very expensive designer company.

They make the male actor seem more masculine by showing the hair on his chest and they give the women a more dangerous side by showing her tattoo. The product is shown in the corner as if its never able to be hidden. The product has a black top and then a quarter is very light purple and the rest is black with the Gucci sign in the middle that shows elegant and sophisticated.
